About School lunch for Nepal

The School lunch programme is an entirely non-profit project. This means that all money donate from private sponsors, apart from bank fees, goes directly to the school.

Who is behind the programme?
The initiator is Anne Mette Nordfalk a former information officer of MS Nepal and a friend of the villagers from Soiya. Currently, Anne Mette has founded a small private association in support of the project. The association named School lunch for Nepal has five board members:

Anne Mette Nordfalk (Chairperson)
Yubaraj Ghimire (Treasurer)
Peter Bischoff (Ressource person)
Mille Lübbert (Ressource person)
Line Bjerregaard (Ressource person)

The rules of the association (formed on December 6th 2009) can be found below (danish and english version in the same document).

In Nepal Sapna Thapa, owner of Mother Care International preschool, supports the programme. Sapna raises money from the parents of her students, coordinates fund raising from other schools and preschools and is responsible for conveying the money to the SMC account of the school.
